Mason Holdings is thrilled to announce our next project, Helen & Edgar, a collaboration with George Dawes Green (celebrated novelist and Founder of The Moth), and Edgar Oliver, (legendary storyteller, poet, actor and performance artist). Our film will be part memory play, part concert film, and part documentary. Based on the spoken word memoirs of Edgar’s terrifying Savannah childhood, the film chronicles a mother’s descent into madness, and the unbreakable bond of siblings, Helen and Edgar. Vast Shipwreck Productions and Mason Holdings are delighted to be co-producing Helen & Edgar. Kristjan Thor and George Dawes Green direct. Performers include Edgar Oliver, Helen Adelson, and Tracy Weller. Susan Chamberlin is our producer. Helen & Edgar is a Vast Shipwreck and Mason Holdings co-production.
