Founder & Artistic Director

Tracy Weller is an actress, writer, and Founder / Artistic Director of Mason Holdings. She has performed throughout New York City and abroad in Germany, South Korea, and Italy. Some NYC credits include: Small Acts of Daring Invention (writer / performer); Hart Island (writer / performer, featured in The New York Times, Gothamist and on WNYC); Jarring (writer / performer, play and short film, Finalist, Blow-Up International Arthouse Film Festival); Holiday House: Christmas Bends (writer/performer, featured in the New York Times, Design Live and Chance Magazine); Consumption (by Devin Burnam, conceived / developed by Mason Holdings); Most Sincerely, Edward Albee (writer/performer, Women in Theatre Festival); Love & Death Traveling Circus (by Devin Burnam, Women in Theatre Festival), and Found (featuring the artwork of Mikel Glass, in partnership with the cell theatre). She was the creator and curator of Mason Holdings’ Unseen & Unheard, a monthly play reading series, producing over twenty-five playwrights in three years, and writer/producer of The Mason Holdings Radio Hour (an experiential podcast in the spirit of old-fashioned radio), featuring The Lost Diaries of Elena Hoyos. In development: Helen & Edgar, and Brilliant Failure. Originally trained as a classical ballet dancer, she has additional experience in flamenco, modern, mime, and biomechanics. Tracy received her MFA from Columbia University, with additional training from Anne Bogart and SITI Company. She is a lover of abandoned houses and all things ghostly and forgotten.

Director

Kristjan Thor is a critically-acclaimed director of film, theater, and immersive experiences. Over the course of a twenty year career, Thor has directed and produced two feature films, many theater, short film, and video projects. His work has been recognized internationally but he continues to call NYC home.

Producing Director

In addition to serving as Producing Director for Mason Holdings, Reed is the General Manager at Keen Theatre Company, Co-Producer with Form Theatricals, and held previous General Management positions at the Vineyard Theatre and Classic Stage Company. GM highlights include: The Scottsboro Boys (world premiere), [title of show] (Off Broadway World Premiere), Avenue Q (Vineyard Theatre), The Book of Mormon (first workshops), Carrie (Off Broadway Premiere), Wig Out! by Tarell Alvin McCraney (Off Broadway World Premiere), Prey for Rock and Roll (Off Broadway World Premiere – CBGB), The Long Christmas Ride Home by Paula Vogel (Off Broadway World Premiere), The Slug Bearers of Kayrol Island (Off Broadway World Premiere), God’s Ear by Jenny Schwartz (Off Broadway World Premiere), Crumbs from the Table of Joy by Lynn Nottage (Off Broadway Revival), and All the World’s a Stage by Adam Gwon (World Premiere). Reed is a proud member of the teaching staffs at Modo Yoga, Sui Yoga, and Equinox.

Scenic Designers

Christopher & Justin Swader are New York City-based scenic designers for theatre and live events. Previous designs with Mason Holdings include: Small Acts of Daring InventionHart IslandConsumptionHoliday HouseJarring. NYC & Off Broadway credits include: Primary Stages, Red Bull Theater, Fiasco Theater, Tectonic Theater Project, The New Victory Theatre, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Lincoln Center Education, York Theatre Company, Trusty Sidekick, The Tank. Regional credits include: Goodspeed Musicals, Signature Theatre, Dallas Theater Center, Geva Theatre, Two River Theater, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Everyman Theatre, Miami New Drama, People’s Light, Resident Ensemble Players at UD, Dorset Theatre Festival, Weston Theater Company, SpeakEasy Stage Co. Other projects include designs for A$AP Rocky, Sotheby’s, 2020 Summer Olympics, Big Apple Circus, National Geographic. Originally from Indiana, they are graduates of Ball State University. Members of United Scenic Artists, Local 829.
